Pool void covers

Build With Confidence. Protect Your Pool.

Building a new home around an existing pool or completing landscaping after a new pool installation shouldn’t mean compromising on safety.

Stingray Fencing’s Pool Void Cover System provides a strong, trafficable platform over your pool, creating a safer work environment for builders, trades, landscapers and homeowners. Designed for residential construction projects, our engineered systems allow work to continue while protecting your pool throughout the build.

Whether you’re constructing a new home, completing a knockdown rebuild or finishing external works, our pool void covers provide a practical, compliant solution that helps keep your project moving. Pool void cover systems are commonly engineered to create a secure working platform with specified safe working loads, with the exact design tailored to each project.

What is a Pool Void Cover?

A pool void cover is a temporary engineered platform installed over a swimming pool during construction.

Rather than relying on temporary barriers alone, the system spans across the pool using structural steel beams with durable lock-down panels installed on top, creating a stable working surface while protecting the pool below. The system is removed once construction is complete, leaving your pool ready for final landscaping and handover.

When Are Pool Void Covers Used?

Our systems are ideal for:

  • Knockdown rebuild projects
  • New homes with existing pools
  • House extensions
  • Landscaping projects
  • Roofing and scaffold access
  • Pool installations awaiting completion
  • Sites where temporary pool fencing alone isn’t practical
